Product Description: Turbocharger oil scavenging has always been an issue. You might have 50 psi feeding the turbo, but the slightest restriction in the "drain" will immediately send oil past the exhaust seals, burning up oil and ruining your turbo. In the case of remote mounted turbo systems, rear mounted systems, or in systems mounted below the engine oil level, some form of positive scavenging has to be engineered. That is where this pump comes into play.
This rugged bronze body and stainless steel shaft pump features an easy connecting system and soft rubber mounts, making it a reliable solution for your oil scavenging needs.
Product Features: - This pump is a gear pump, the best kind of pump for oil scavenging. - Bronze gears and brass pump body ensure durability, with no diaphragms to fail like competitor pumps. - Gear design for maximum scavenge, with the same oil that it scavenges also lubricating its gears. - This is a racing part, so do not expect the product to be quiet. - Self-priming gear electric pumps suitable for lubricants and viscous liquids. - Professional grade pump, ideal for marine, caravans/RV, automotive, and agriculture applications. - Designed for intermittent use only, with a duty cycle of 30 minutes. - Can be used to transfer diesel, lubricants, and machinery fuel (except gasoline petroleum fuel). - Includes 2 x 12mm (1/2") brass hose tails for easy connection. - Suitable for remote turbo systems as oil scavenge pumps, with the engine supplying the oil pressure and the pump returning the turbo oil to a point above the sump level. - Can also be used for various other applications, such as oil transfer.
