- For boats 20 to 30 feet, a 1/2 inch diameter dock line is suggested.
- For boats 30 to 40 feet, a 5/8 inch diameter dock line is recommended.
- For boats 40 to 46 feet, a 3/4 inch diameter dock line is suggested.
- For boats 55 to 63 feet, a 7/8 inch diameter dock line is recommended.
- For boats 64 to 72 feet, a 1 inch diameter dock line is suggested.
